We're looking for an experienced Content Marketing Manager to spearhead our content creation and delivery efforts. Our new Content Marketing Manager must ooze creativity and communicate exceptionally well.
The ideal candidate will understand the Product AND the Customer! The candidate will understand the technical issues they face and talk with credibility about those issues. The perfect candidate will create consistent content for every touchpoint with the customer, from the time the users are prospects to the time those users become customers and beyond. This content must help establish thought leadership, visibility, and trust with our audience and create a sustainable unified customer experience.

  • Create a unified customer experience strategy
  • Consult with team members to evaluate current content
  • Create the content calendar
  • Identify key blog contributors/SMEs within MessageGears and with our partners
  • Create a blog calendar to track topics and contributors that align with monthly theme and business goals
  • Establish cadence and begin uptick in publishing frequency
  • Assess current newsletter format, content, and frequency
  • Help plan, update, and enhance email/communication format, content, and frequency
  • Review and assist team with nurture program, seeing if there are any quick win opportunities and/or immediate content needs
  • Establish a webinar cadence
  • Map out topic ideas for 2017
  • Help formulate scheduled EEC webinar content
  • Assess current approach and provide input for areas that can be improved
  • Work with team and PR/communications arm to assist with the creation and promotion of MessageGears content
  • Work with the account team to evaluate opportunities and map out future content designed to advance enterprise use-cases
  • Establish whitepaper/e-book/custom research cadence

Requirements
  • Bachelor degree in Journalism, Marketing, Business, Communications or relevant field
  • Minimum of 3 to 5 years of experience in B2B Marketing Communications (Technical Marketing Preferred)
  • Proven success in an Enterprise B2B environment with positive feedback from your managers
  • SaaS product experience a HUGE plus
  • Ability to create clear, conversational business written communication and blend copy and graphics to connect with the user
  • An ability to organize and prioritize in a rapidly changing environment
  • Basic technical knowledge of HTML and web publishing
  • Familiarity with social media
  • Proven experience creating technical marketing collateral material
  • Extensive experience creating, updating, maintaining: content calendars, web content, white papers and blogs/blog posts
  • Experience creating and managing technical product marketing content
  • Great organizational and time management skills
  • Excellent writing skills in English
  • Attention to detail
  • General knowledge of SEO and web traffic metrics
