Job Duties & Responsibilities
Develops the overall Information Security Architecture
Reviews, designs, and oversees implementation of security protocols and practices for all software applications within the environment
Develops and implements security requirements into the application life cycle
Enhances the project management methodology to ensure security is involved in all phases of the development process
Increases security awareness and accountability with our business and application development partners
Works with third party service providers to ensure acquired solutions and services meet security requirements
Responsible for relationship management with the Business Units and other areas of Technology
Performs general management duties, exercising authority concerning staff, performance appraisals and terminations
Establishes department goals and objectives in accordance with company policies
Manages a team of 6-8 Information Security Architects
Skills & RequirementsBachelor's degree in a related fieldSeven years of relevant experience of which five years must be in application security or software developmentFive years managerial experienceInformation Security Architecture Principals and Secure Coding PracticesExcellent communication (written and verbal) and organizational skills, the ability to manage multiple projects, strong analytical, problem solving and conceptual skillsDemonstrated presentation skillsMust have demonstrated business acumen with the ability to interact with senior management across the organizationMust also be able to manage multiple priorities
