We are seeking a Registered Nurse II. In this position, you'll utilize the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic care and assist the other members of the nursing team in the management of patient care.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Must comply with continuing education requirements and remain current on all required competencies
  • Maintain technical skills necessary to perform the function of the job and produce evidence of providing safe care by keeping competency records up-to-date
  • Must understand and comply with all regulatory standards, including quality measures, Medicare requirements, and department specific requirements
  • Assess clinical and psychological needs of patients, while providing patient-centered, outcomes-focused care for the patients in your care, utilizing the nursing process, delegation, and coordination of multi-disciplinary patient care teams
  • Utilize critical thinking skills for optimal patient outcomes and efficiency
  • Consistently meet the standard of care for the unit and organization with patient admissions, medication administration, assessments, collaboration, care coordination
  • Manage the patient and family transitions between levels of care
  • Consistently and efficiently manage medical records to ensure all appropriate and necessary documentation is done professionally and accurately, allowing for enhanced communication to and among providers of care
  • Demonstrates professional behavior in relationships with physicians, families, patients, and co-workers while engaging the patient, family, and the health care team in providing the best in quality patient care

Skills & Requirements
  • Must be a RN in current good standing in the state of Arkansas
  • Healthcare CPR certification required, some areas may require ACLS, PALS and/or NALS - training provided
  • One year of experience; acute care or intensive care experience is highly preferred
  • Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
