We are seeking a Registered Nurse II. In this position, you'll be accountable for utilizing the nursing process to provide safe, therapeutic care and assist the other members of the nursing team in the management of patient care. The Nursing Process is implemented recognizing variations in geriatric adult, adolescent and/or pediatric patients related to normal growth and development.

Job Duties & Responsibilities
  • Implements the nursing process to manage patient care problems of a complex and changing nature as demonstrated by documentation and/or observation
  • Teaching/learning and discharge needs of patients and significant others are identified, documented implemented and response evaluated
  • Patient outcomes are measurably realistic, targeted to discharge, and progress toward outcomes is documented
  • Develops discharge plan in collaboration with Case Coordination, physician and other allied care providers
  • Demonstrates increasing expertise in clinical practice and confidence in leadership role as evidenced by observation, documentation and peer review
  • Responsible for participation in activities to promote professional growth, as evidenced by documentation, observation and peer review
  • Maintains a professional image

Skills & Requirements
  • Requires graduation from a state approved program of Nursing and current licensure by the Arkansas State Board of Nursing
  • 2 years of related experience plus individual challenges and is approved by the Registered Nurse Advancement System Committee
  • RN I qualifications plus demonstrated ability to perform at the RN II level
  • Successfully completion of one year as an RN I
