We are on the hunt for our next Senior Electroneurodiagnostic Technician - someone who can thrive in a fast-paced hospital setting. In this position you'll provide findings, results, and a descriptive analysis according to facility policy and procedures. We need someone with excellent communication skills who can perform procedures appropriate to their competence and credentials held under general technical supervision.

  • Provides quality patient-centered neurodiagnostic testing
  • Perform routine and complex Neurodiagnotics procedures in accordance with ABRET/ACNS guidelines and ASET competencies and/or BRPT/AAST
  • Ensures electrode application in adherence with the International 10–20 System
  • Maintains the patient's safety through communication
  • Functions independently and is able to apply basic, intermediate and advanced¿ waveform recognition, relevant medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, infection control, current HIPPA practices
  • Performs patient assessment as related to care such as electrode product allergies, movement restrictions and cognitive function
  • Assists in training and assessment of END technologists in neurodiagnostic procedures and techniques
  • Documents information in patient medical record and assists with patient billing process
  • Performs other essential job duties

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Two (2) year of experience in Electroneurodiagnostic Technology
  • Current Registry in any one of the following:
    • R.EEG T – Electroencephalography
    • R.EP T. – Evoked Potentials
    • RPGST – Polysomnography
    • CLTM – Certified Long Term Monitoring
    • CNIM – Certification in Neurophysiologic Intraoperative Monitoring
  • Graduate of a Commission of Accreditation of Allied Health Education Program (CAAHEP) accredited Electroneurodiagnostic Technology program or equivalent formal training is preferred
  • Ensures electrode application in adherence with the International 10–20 System
  • Knowledge of the correct performance of neurodiagnostic studies
  • Recognition of clinically significant events and follows facility policy and procedures
  • The ability to independently demonstrate skill in one of the following areas: EEG, EEG Video Monitoring, EP, IONM or PSG
  • Demonstrated ability to operate neurodiagnostic equipment, video monitoring equipment
  • Is articulate, courteous and supportive in dealing with hospital, administrative and departmental personnel, patients and parents with ability to honor confidentiality; demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills; demonstrate good customer service; utilize basic office equipment and a personal computer
